Joseph & Hollander Legislative Consulting, LLC, was formed in December of 2006 to complement the legal services provided by Joseph & Hollander, P.A. Our goal is that clients "have their say" on important issues before the legislature and other governmental entities. Our legislative consulting service works directly with legislators and government officials to promote and protect clients' interests.

New laws and regulations can pass unnoticed or without comment and later prove to be detrimental to you and your business. To prevent that, Joseph & Hollander Legislative Consulting, LLC also acts as a "watchdog." Legislative and regulatory activity is monitored. When legislation or regulation affecting a client is detected, you are notified and briefed.

Kevin Barone, a 2004 graduate of Washburn Law School, is the Director of Government Relations at Joseph & Hollander Legislative Consulting, LLC. Mr. Barone is a registered lobbyist and has been active with the Kansas legislature and state government agencies since 1999. Kevin has represented clients on issues including taxes, health care, gaming, tribal law, tobacco, alcohol and restaurant interests, trial law, and the interests of municipalities.
